About REDA
The Red Coat Regional Economic Development Authority Inc. (REDA) was established in 1996 as an umbrella organization for community economic development groups and organizations in the region.
It is a non-profit, membership based organization which is committed to promoting sustainable economic development that results in the retention and growth of jobs, investment and population in the region. Incorporated in 1996, the Red Coat REDA’s market area extends from the United States border in the south to Old Wives Lake in the north through the south-central region of Saskatchewan.
The REDA encompasses twenty four rural municipalities, twenty three towns and villages and one Indian Reserve. By working together on a regional basis, the Red Coat REDA members and partners maximize their resources, building on their strengths to increase services, reduce duplication of efforts and maximize results.

Mission Statement
The Red Coat REDA has adopted the following statement as a general indication of its approach to economic development in south central Saskatchewan:
"It is the mission of the Red Coat Regional Economic Development Authority Inc. to broaden the economic base of the region through community and business development, increasing the economic development resources available to businesses and economic development organizations, and providing support services to community, business and government in the area of community economic development."
